This is is a resource list for BIPOC and Queer, Trans and GNC folks who are considering Mentoring with Birdsong, or who are looking for Mentors and learning spaces that are BIPOC or LGBTQIA2S+ led and centered. We welcome students of all backgrounds AND we recognize that we may not be the right mentors for every person. Doula work is all about informed choice and we hope that this resource supports your choice framework. 

To note: This page was created for BIPOC and LGBTQIA2S+ folks. If you are white, white passing and/or cis het please read deeply before reaching to these folks. Some people listed here are not interested in mentoring white folks and their learning spaces are BIPOC only. Some folks are open to mentoring everyone - please don’t assume all spaces and mentors are available to you.
